Let’s support local

You would have heard the ‘support local’ message quite a bit by now. It’s a well-timed encouragement for us all to buy from Australian-owned companies. Small businesses, in particular, have taken a big hit as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and really need our support.

Many of us have jumped on board with the support local idea and are going out of our way to spend our money with locally owned and operated companies. We're all in this together and the more we do to support each other, the quicker we'll all come out of it at the other end– and in better shape.

Gourmet Meals is a family business located in Brisbane. We've been around for a long time – 27 years, to be exact – and we love supporting our local community. We are proud that our company provides healthy, nutritious and well-balanced meals to those who have been especially vulnerable during the pandemic.

We did this before Covid-19 and we will continue to do so, long after these trying times have passed. That's our promise to you and, to those who are special to you.

We were fortunate enough to have been able to provide work for a number of locals who had lost their jobs during lockdown. So, we want to say thank you to all of you who supported us then and continue to now.

Here at Gourmet Meals, we believe that supporting local is essential. We assist many local charities and events on the Gold Coast and in the surrounding area. We also try to source as many of our ingredients from Australian companies, including our poultry, beef, pork, fruit and veggies. All of our dairy products and eggs all come from local companies too and we intend to keep it that way.

Our head office, production kitchen and warehouse distribution centre are all situated locally too. Gold Coast locals can buy our nutritious and tasty meals directly from our warehouse at 46/215 Brisbane Road, Biggera Waters. We’re open from 9 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
