Celebrating Seniors In The Community

All ages are coming together to celebrate seniors during Seniors Week from 19-27 August.

Gourmet Meals is taking the opportunity to share just how much we appreciate our local seniors and their incredible contributions to the community both past and present.

It goes without saying - our seniors deserve more than a week’s recognition, and at Gourmet Meals we like to think we celebrate these special members of the community all throughout the year.

All of the staff at Gourmet Meals are particularly grateful to our lovely senior customers for their loyalty and continuous support.

Most seniors strive to stay at home independently for as long as they possibly can, and our customers can do exactly that with a range of wholesome meals delivered right to their door.

Having variety is never a problem, with plenty of different meals including roasts, casseroles, pasta dishes, cottage pies, soups and desserts – all of which are reasonably priced and so easy to prepare.

We were pleased when changes to the Government Home Care Package Program rightfully gave our senior customers more freedom to decide where they allocate their package funds.

Seniors deserve the right to decide where their money is best spent, and can now allocate their package funds towards the delivery of readymade meals like Gourmet Meals.

Our delivery service stretches from the Northern Rivers, to the Gold Coast, Brisbane and outer suburbs, Caboolture and Ipswich, and suburbs are serviced once a week.

Gourmet Meals is also one of the preferred suppliers of home delivered meals for a number of service providers such as Care Connect, Blue Care, Transition Care, Oz Care and Anglican Care.

So to all of our lovely seniors, we thank you for playing an amazing role in the community.

We trust that in return we have been able to be of some service in making life a bit easier and meal time more pleasurable through the provision of our Gourmet Meals.

Our great tasting meals are wholesome and nutritionally balanced, high in fibre and protein; and low in salt and fat. Best of all - all our meals are free from added flavours, colours and preservatives.
