- Take a walk in the park. Spending time outdoors is great for your health, and it's a perfect opportunity to admire all the pretty flowers in bloom. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring along a water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Have a picnic. Pack up some finger foods and blankets and head to your local park for a relaxing picnic lunch. Don't forget the sunscreen!
- Plant a garden. If you have some space in your yard, why not start a garden? Gardening is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. You can grow vegetables, fruits, flowers, or whatever you like best.
- Visit a farmer’s market. Farmer’s markets are popping up all over the place in the springtime. They're a great place to find fresh produce, honey, homemade baked goods, and more. So, take a stroll through your local market, and support your community farmers.
- Go fishing. Fishing is a classic spring activity that's perfect for older adults.
